INFORMATION NOTE

1. Introduction

This Information Note is issued to enable İGA Airport Operation Inc. (“Company”) process the personal data of our passengers and guests being natural persons in accordance with applicable legislation, notably the Turkish Constitution, the international conventions on human rights which Turkey is a party to, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and resolutions of the Personal Data Protection Board, and also to enable the persons whose data are processed exercise their rights in an efficient manner. All personal data shared with our Company may be processed in a lawful manner in connection with and to the extent required by our Company’s business and service objectives, with strict adherence to the principles set forth in Article 4 of the Law.

2. Purpose of Personal Data Processing

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes in accordance with the personal data processing conditions set out under Article 5 of the Law:

• Assessment of the passengers’ and guests’ complaints by the Company,
• Ensuring customer satisfaction,
• Establishing contact with passengers/guests,
• Settlement of possible future disputes,
• Enabling passengers/guests to exercise the rights bestowed upon them by law, and
• Enabling the Company to exercise the rights bestowed upon it by law.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to authorized public bodies and private entities authorized by law in order to fulfil legal obligations in compliance with the rules and principles set out in applicable legislation and line with the conditions and purposes defined under Articles 8 and 9 of the Law in connection with transfer of personal data.

4. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are collected on survey machines by automatic means. The legal grounds for the processing of your personal data by the Company is the data subject’s consent given in his/her Explicit Consent as per Article 5 Par. 1 of the Law. Your personal data are collected by our Company on the basis of the mentioned legal grounds, in accordance with all applicable legislations, and for the purposes defined under Articles 2 and 3 hereinabove.

5. Rights of the Data Subject under Art. 11 of the Law

EXPLICIT CONSENT

This Explicit Consent is issued to document a data subject’s consent or refusal to the processing of his/her personal data within the scope of the matters explained in full detail in the foregoing Information Note comprising 5 articles drawn up in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.
